Starts a new BackupTask on a non-daemon thread. The returned CompletableFuture will complete once the backup is finished, unless it completes exceptionally.

Parameters:

universeDir - The universe directory to back up.

backupDir - The directory to place the backup in.

Returns:

A CompletableFuture representing the backup progress.
