Class HardcoreGameOver

java.lang.Object
com.hypixel.hytale.server.core.universe.hardcore.HardcoreGameOver

public final class HardcoreGameOver extends Object
Ends a hardcore run for the whole universe when the shared pool of lives is spent.

The wipe converts every Adventure player to the configured death gamemode type: living players die with a game-over death, players waiting on the respawn screen convert in place, and HardcoreGameOver.ApplyOnJoin converts players who join later. Spectating and non-Adventure players are exempt, so an op in Creative survives the wipe.

    • isActive

      public static boolean isActive()
      Returns:
      whether this universe runs a shared-pool hardcore mode whose run has ended.
    • trigger

      public static void trigger()
      Ends the run for the whole universe. Idempotent: only the call that sets the game-over flag converts, so concurrent deaths that overdraw the pool cannot run the wipe twice. The one flush here persists the spent pool and the flag together.
